Definition:
Banishing is the magical act of removing unwanted energies, spirits, or influences from a space or person.
Different From Cursing:
Banishing is defensive/cleansing magic, not attack magic. You're removing what shouldn't be there, not harming anyone.
When To Banish:
• After negative events.
• Before major magical work (clear the space)
• When feeling haunted or watched.
• After unwanted visitors.
• To break attachments.
• Regular spiritual hygiene.
Methods:
• Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP)
• Smoke cleansing (sage, palo santo, etc.)
• Salt and water.
• Sound (bells, drums, singing bowls)
• Forceful commands.
• Calling in protective spirits.
• Opening doors/windows and sweeping out.
• Fire.
Levels:
• Light cleansing (smoke, sound)
• Medium banishing (ritual, command)
• Heavy exorcism (for serious attachments/hauntings)
